Siraha: Public attraction toward the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been steadily increasing in Lahan.
In a party entry program organized under the leadership of young entrepreneurs Om Prakash Sharma and Santosh Kumar Paswan, a total of 63 individuals formally joined the Rastriya Swatantra Party after leaving various other political parties.
RSP leader Purushottam Yadav attended the event as the chief guest. The program saw notable participation from different wards of Lahan municipality. Those who joined the party included Bali Gupta (Ward 1), Biki Suni (Ward 2), Binod Chaudhary (Ward 5), Amresh (Ward 8), Barun Rouniyar (Ward 1), Bibek Sah (Ward 10), Binesh Jha (Ward 8), Sandip Kumar Sah (Ward 11), along with Amar Yadav, Subash Das, Ranjit Kumar Sah, Ganesh Sah, Santosh Kumar Paswan, Vijay Kumar Yadav, Om Prakash Sharma, and others, bringing the total number of new entrants to 63.
According to Om Prakash Sharma, Managing Director of Gitanjali Auto Workshop and one of the program’s organizers, growing public desire for change in the country and increasing trust in alternative politics have fueled rising support for the Rastriya Swatantra Party. Speakers at the jointly organized program with Santosh Kumar Paswan stated that a wave of change is now spreading from villages to towns.
During the event, new members were warmly welcomed and briefed on the party’s policies, ideology, and future plans.
