Kathmandu – Most airports in India have been severely affected due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, with some airspaces closed and flight operations reduced to near zero, officials said on Tuesday.
According to airport authorities, the disruptions have impacted flights between India and Gulf destinations. Mohammad Arif, Director of Coimbatore International Airport, told ANI, “Due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, many countries have closed their airspace, leading to minimal flight operations in the region. India operates multiple daily flights to the Middle East from various cities, including Coimbatore.”
Coimbatore is connected to two Middle Eastern destinations – Abu Dhabi and Sharjah
