Kathmandu — Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the people and government of Nepal for successfully conducting a peaceful and orderly election.
In a message shared on social media, Modi said he was pleased to see Nepali citizens enthusiastically exercising their democratic rights. He praised the high level of public participation in the electoral process.
Modi described the election as a historic milestone in Nepal’s democratic journey, calling it a proud moment for the country and its people.
He also reaffirmed that India, as a close neighbor and trusted friend, remains committed to working together with the people of Nepal and the newly formed government to promote peace, progress, and prosperity in the region.
