Janakpurdham: Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balen Shah, has arrived in Janakpur.
RSP Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane, senior leader Shah, and other party leaders reached Janakpur, where they were warmly welcomed by a large number of RSP leaders and cadres at Janakpur Airport.
During the reception, a glass door at the airport was reportedly broken due to the crowd.
Earlier today, Balen Shah resigned from his post as Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. Shortly after submitting his resignation, he visited the party office in Bansthali, where he spent around 10 minutes before flying to Janakpur the same day.
