Kathmandu – Vice President Ramsahay Yadav emphasized the need for Nepal Television to adapt to new trends, digital platforms, and rising public expectations in order to improve the quality and effectiveness of its broadcast content. He made these remarks during the 41st anniversary celebration of Nepal Television held in Kathmandu on Saturday.
In his address, Vice President Yadav stated that it is essential for Nepal Television to continually expand its presentations and trends in the digital era. He urged the national broadcaster to align with new trends and growing public expectations, while also enhancing the effectiveness of its programming.
He said, “In today’s digital age, expanding content, reach, presentation, and trends is inevitable. It is crucial for Nepal Television to embrace new trends, digital platforms, and rising public expectations to improve the quality and effectiveness of broadcast content.”
Additionally, Yadav highlighted that reaching the public through digital media is not just a challenge but also an opportunity to carry the nation’s voice to the younger generation. He noted, “It is not only a challenge to reach the people through digital media, but also an opportunity to carry the nation’s voice to the new generation.”
He also stated that the primary responsibility of government-run media is to strengthen the nation’s voice, provide the public with informative, educational, and motivational content, and preserve democratic values.
