Kathmandu – Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Shah Pahlavi has attributed the recent U.S. airstrikes on Iran’s three nuclear sites — Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan — to the Islamic Republic’s relentless pursuit of nuclear weapons. He has demanded the resignation of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, asserting that “the only sure path to peace is the end of this regime.”
Responding to the attacks, Pahlavi wrote on X, “The strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities are the direct consequence of the Islamic Republic’s destructive quest for nuclear weapons, which has jeopardized the interests of the Iranian people. Ali Khamenei and his fractured terrorist regime have failed the nation.”
He appealed to Khamenei, urging, “Instead of contemplating revenge from your underground bunker, step down for the sake of the Iranian people, so that the glorious Iranian nation can move past the destructive era of the Islamic Republic and begin a new chapter of peace, prosperity, and greatness.”
Pahlavi emphasized that restoring peace in Iran requires the “definitive end of this system.”
Earlier, Reza Shah Pahlavi criticized Khamenei for hiding like a frightened mouse underground and claimed that the Supreme Leader now has no way out. The exiled royal called on Iranians to unite and seize this historic turning point, stating, “What has begun cannot be reversed.” He expressed optimism about Iran’s future beyond the current regime.
Reza Shah Pahlavi is the son of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, who ruled Iran until the 1979 revolution, which dramatically transformed Iran’s religious and social structure. The revolution forced the Shah to flee to Egypt, ending centuries of monarchy and ushering in the current Islamic Republic.
