Siraha, – Police have arrested two individuals, including the wife of the deceased, in connection with a suspicious death case reported in Budhiyachap village, located in Arnama Rural Municipality-1 of Siraha district.
According to the District Police Office, 35-year-old Ajay Mahara was found dead on Saturday under mysterious circumstances. His body was discovered under a mango tree near a neighbor’s field with his neck tied with a white plastic sheet, raising serious suspicions of foul play.
Birendra Kumar Paswan, Deputy Superintendent of Police and spokesperson for the District Police Office, stated that the incident appears suspicious and further details will emerge after the post-mortem report is received. Mahara’s body has been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for autopsy.
Police said an investigation is ongoing to uncover the cause of death and any possible involvement of the arrested individuals.
