Rautahat — Seven people, including the drivers, were injured in a three-vehicle collision in Rautahat district on Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred at Barahawa of Durga Bhagwati Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 along the Hulaki Highway near Bam Nahar. An Indian-registered Scorpio (HR 28 D 7222) heading toward Bam Nahar collided with another Indian Scorpio (BR 07 PA 7584) that was traveling from Chandranigahpur to Gaur.
Following the initial crash, the first Scorpio then hit a stationary auto-rickshaw (Na 2 Ha 6525) parked at the spot, according to police.
District Police Office spokesperson DSP Bishnu Pradip Basyal informed that the impact of the collision also caused damage to a nearby hotel belonging to Vijay Sah located along the roadside.

The accident took place near Bam Nahar Chowk along the Gaur–Chandranigahpur road section.
Police said all injured individuals received treatment at the Provincial Hospital in Gaur and have been discharged.
Authorities have taken all three vehicles involved in the crash into custody for further investigation, the District Police Office, Rautahat stated.
