Kathmandu – The Supreme Court has ordered the release of Durga Prasai, coordinator of the Citizens’ Rescue Mega Campaign (Nagarik Bachau Mahaabhiyan), from detention.
A joint bench of Justices Manoj Kumar Sharma and Meghraj Pokharel issued the order directing the authorities to free Prasai.
The order was issued in response to a habeas corpus petition filed by Prasai’s family, challenging his detention and seeking his immediate release.
