Kathmandu, June 20 – Amid the ongoing war between Israel and Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is scheduled to meet with several European Union foreign ministers on Friday.
According to the Iranian news agency IRNA, Araghchi will hold talks in Geneva with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell, as well as foreign ministers from the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
Following speculation on social media about the meeting between the Iranian delegation and European foreign ministers, Abbas Araghchi confirmed the talks during an interview with IRNA.
An AFP report adds that the discussions will include Iran’s nuclear program, highlighting ongoing diplomatic efforts despite rising regional tensions.
