Kathmandu: US President Donald Trump has claimed that the American attack on Iran has pushed back its nuclear program by decades.
When asked how much damage the US strike inflicted on Iran’s nuclear ambitions, Trump responded, “I think it has been pushed back by decades. They have endured this and faced many things. The last thing they want now is prosperity. That attack ended the war.”
Trump compared the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel to “two kids fighting in a schoolyard.”
“Let them fight for a while, then it will be easier to stop them,” he added.
Referring to the Iran-Israel conflict, Trump also mentioned that he had discussed the issue with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I told him (Putin) not to help Iran, but to help us,” Trump said.
