Rajbiraj: A woman from Saptari has been arrested with illegal drugs from a hostel in Kathmandu.
The arrested has been identified as 45-year-old Maya Kumari Devi Mishra, a resident of Chhinnamasta Rural Municipality–1 in Saptari. She is also the operator of New Kashyap Boys Hostel located at Katyayani Chowk, Kathmandu Metropolitan City–31.
A police team deployed from the New Baneshwor Police Circle conducted a search of the hostel on Tuesday evening and recovered 130 milligrams of brown sugar from the premises.
Following the seizure, Mishra was taken into custody. Police said further investigation into the case is underway.
